MoCC has been invited to inhabit the Pavilion Gallery at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) this 24-27 August bank holiday. It’s a bit of a different ambience to the former hairdressers we occupied in Exeter last May. But since a commodity is a commodity anywhere you offer it, our range of interactive activities will be just as at home there.

We are really pleased to be able to take up this opportunity which has been enabled by funds from University of Exeter and with the support of the university’s Geography Department and the RGS-IBG themselves. After the four day public exhibition, we will be re-assembling elements of MoCC for the annual International RGS-IBG Conference 30th Aug-1st Sept. The MoCC team and colleagues in Geography, sociology and the arts will be speaking on two panels at the conference, about the project and associated themes of data, trade, place and values.
